As promised another card using my Hidden Garden chocolate rub ons. I used the image as the entire focus for the card and just layered it to make it special.
I will add a greeting to the card in the lower right hand corner, when I have decided who to give it to and for what occasion it will be required!
A quick and easy card to make. Rub ons make it all so simple, with no mess and fuss.

Here is a card I created using my Hidden Garden rub ons. This pack of Stampin' Up! rub ons comes with a sheet of white and a sheet of chocolate images and is only available until the end of March in the Summer Mini Catalague.
I have used both the white and chocolate on this card. The greeting in the square metal edged tag is an entire rub on image. It fitted perfectly (I just love the way all Stampin' Up! things coordinate so well!)
I have stamped the chocolate chip cardstock with a coordinating flower image from the Eastern Blooms stamp set, but it is difficult to see in this picture (sorry!)
To balance the card I added a photo corner to the top left. It is punched out with the Stampin' Up! photo corner punch - a great one as it punches out 2 sizes of photocorner with 1 punch!
The green I used is 'wild wasabi' - an 'in colour' that I will be sad to say goodbye to at the end of March.

Here is my pink faux stitching card, as promised. I have used completely different stamp sets for this card (from yesterdays card), although the design remains the same.

This is the card I designed for my faux stitching card class in February. I used a design by Jayne Mercer and adapted it with different colours and to include a greeting (Thanks Jayne!).
It incorporates faux stitching in two different ways, around the square image and along the front strip. The stitching around the square is completed with a Stampin' Write marker, whereas the stitching along the front strip is completed using a white gel pen - giving a slightly different look.
This card also uses the Carte postale stamp set and the leaves a la carte jumbo wheel. Here are the details of what else I used:

Card: Bashful blue, Night of navy, Very vanilla
Ink: Bashful blue, Night of navy

Here is another card I created using the 'shadow technique', as I like to call it!
I used the fabulous Baroque Motifs stamp set - which happens to be in the Stampin' Up! bushfire appeal - so if you purchase it from me before 31 March you will recieve a further discount.
I also used the Occasional greetings set, an antique brass jumbo eyelet and lots of circle punches to complete this card.

This is a card that was inspired by Linda Higgins, someone I am lucky enough to call a friend, and who happens to be one of the top 10 demonstrators in Australia! So, I am even luckier! Thanks Linda, for your friendship and for your inspiration.
Linda shared with me the technique shown above - that of stamping an image with a shadow. It is quite simple, but very effective, I am sure you agree.
You simply stamp your image in a dark ink (I used brocade blue ink on brocade blue card) then stamp the same image in white ink slightly lower and to the left of the original image. This creates the impression of a shadow on the image. My stamp-a-ma-jig was perfect for this job - and quite essential, unless you want crooked shadows!
I completed this card using the 'Live your dream' stamp set. This is one of the stamp sets included in the Stampin' Up! Bushfire Appeal - so if you purchase it from me before 31 March then Stampin' Up! will donate 50 percent of the retail value to the Victorian Bushfire Fund.

This card was inspired by a technique shown in the monthly magazine Australian Demonstrators receive called Impressions. It is a great resource and another benefit of becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. If you would like information on joining my team, the Creative Stampers, just email me.
Anyway, back to the card. The flower is created by punching out patterned paper with the small tag punch from Stampin' Up! You can also use the larger tag punch. Each tag is folded to create a petal, then simply adhere the petals to your base to create your flower. As you can imagine, you can create lots of different looking flowers using different papers.
It is also a great focal embellishment on a scrapbook page.
