My niece Alice, turned 1 last month so I made her this special card. She lives in Singapore and unfortunately I have not met her in person yet. Hopefully I will get to meet her soon. Having family in different countries all around the world does mean we don't get together much, but when we do it is very special indeed.
I wanted the card to be sparkly so I used my new Pink Supa nova glitter from Stampin' Up! It is just fantastic! I also embossed the base of the cupcake with white embossing powder to give it a gloss finish. Some sponging, pink pirouette ribbon and the eyelet border punch finished the card off nicely.
Here is a close up of the cupcake in all it's glory!:
I hope you had a wonderful day Alice. I hope to meet you very soon.
Card Details:
Stamps: Party hearty
Ink: Versamark, pretty in pink
Card: Confetti white, pretty in pink, sage shadow
Accesories: Pink Supa nova glitter, heat and stick powder, white embossing powder, pink pirouett ribbon, eyelet border punch, sponges, dazzling diamonds glitter (for top of candle), stampin dimensionals.
Your niece will love it. Looks good enought to eat. Gotta love pink and sage together.
