Here is a pocket card I made for my lovely niece, Tarni!
She lives a fair way away from me and so I decided to give her some money for her birthday, instead of spending money on posting a gift. She is quite happy with this arrangement, as she loves to spend money!!
So, I needed a pretty way to package the money! This was inspired by a card I saw by Ngaire Anderson, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator of the Year, and one of the lovliest ladies you will ever meet!
Here is the inside of the card, which is also a pocket to hold money, or a gift card:
I have used Holiday Treasures double sided designer series papers to decorate the card and tied it up with the beautiful riding hood red taffeta ribbon. The circle stamp on the front is from the 'Wow Flowers' stamp set with a flower brad in the centre.
Here is another view:
I hope Tarni liked it. I know she will enjoy spending the money inside!
Details:
Stamps: Wow flowers
Card: Pretty in pink, very vanilla, riding hood red
Ink: Riding hood red
Accessories: Holiday treasures designer series papers, flower brad, pretty in pink marker, riding hood red taffeta ribbon, 1 inch circle punch, 1 1/4 inch circle punch.
By the way - I didn't post the card with the money inside. It was hand delivered by her grandparents who visited her for her birthday. What a lucky girl! Hope you had a great birthday Tarni.
Happy Stamping!
