Presto Patterns Card

 
Presto Patterns is a fabulous designer series paper pack by Stampin' Up! that will only be available until 31 March 2011.  It is in the current Summer Mini Catalogue which finishes soon.

Presto patterns are 12 x 12 papers that are cardstock weight and look white when you receive them.  They are embossed with beautiful designs that you can add colour to, so they 'pop' from the paper.

I have sponged on marina mist and certainly celery ink in this card above, so you can see the beautiful design on the paper.  A greeting and a satin ribbon bow and the card is complete!

Crimped Cards with a Difference

 
Here are the other cards I designed for my card making classes in February.  They are generic cards for any occasion, even a male birthday, which I think is one of the hardest cards to make!

I used the Stampin' Up! crimper to create the interesting design.  To create this look you need to mark the center points of each side of your rectangle, then score between these points.  This will create a diamond on your cardstock.  Fold along each score line, then put the folded piece through your crimper.

When you unfold your card you should have a piece of cardstock that looks like mine!  There may be a spot in the middle of your card that doesn't get crimped, this is because there are so many layers that it gets missed.  As you will want to place a focal image in the middle of your card, it doesn't really matter too much!

March Card Making Classes

 
I still have a few spots available at my last classes in March, on Wednesday 30 March at either 10am or 7.30pm.

These are the cards you will make, 10 cards altogether.  5 of the owl design and 5 of the floral design.  The cost is only $25.

To create these cards we will be using Big Shot embossing folders in interesting ways. Adding Shimmer paint and stamping to create unique cards.

Square Lattice Rolled Corner Cards

 
Here are a couple of cards that I created for my classes last month.  They are 'every occasion' cards, but for a female! 

I stamped the lovely flowery image from the 'Just Believe' stamp set in chocolate chip ink, then ran it through the Big Shot using the 'square lattice' embossing folder.  I love the effect it created.

To finish off the cards I rolled the top right corner around my paint brush end then sponged it.  A scrap of very vanilla, also sponged, is used behind the rolled corner to complete the look.
