Quick and Easy Present

 

Here is a present I made for the boys music teacher last year.  It was a quick and easy package for a chocolate bar.  Here is how it opens:

 

It was for Christmas, hence the Christmas tag, but with beautiful Stampin' Up! papers, this could be a gift for any occasion.

The bottom of the package is crimped to add a little texture and keep it closed:

 

The current Stampin' Designer Series Papers will no doubt all retire in August and be gone for good.  That is only 3 short months away, so don't forget to stock up on your favourites before they are gone.

Convention Gifts for my Room mates

 
This is what I made for my room mates at Convention this year.  A Convention Survival Kit!

I designed this all from scratch! Quite unbelievable really! 

Here is a shot of whats inside:

 
It contains lots of useful things so we all make it through convention unscathed!  Including:  chocolate, band aids, pain killers, hand sanitizer, gum, lip balm, note pad and pen, money and cotton balls.

I really hope that Jayne, Marelle and Beth all like them!

My Convention Swap 2011

 

Well, at the moment I am enjoying the first day of Stampin' Up! Convention in Melbourne, Australia!  Here is the swap card I created for this year.

I have used the Awash with Flowers stamp set, using the stamp-a-ma-jig to do all the 2-step stamping.  This makes the flowers much more 3 dimensional.

The top note die was the perfect border for my flowers, sponged of course!

I have brayed ink onto the square lattice folder before putting it through the bigshot, to create a much bolder background. 
I have even stamped and cut out one of the flowers, this is big for me, I try and avoid cutting out if I can!

Finished off with the word window punch and decorative label punch.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I will be enjoying Convention!

Cupcake stamp set and matching punch

 
Here is a card I created for a recent charity event I was involved in to raise money for The Relay for Life.  We raised over $300 on the day, which was a fantastic outcome.

The card uses the fantastic new cupcake punch and matching stamp set, available in the Autumn-Winter Mini Stampin' Up! Catalogue.  It is so easy to be able to stamp and then punch out the pieces easily.

The big shot was used to create the perfect polka dot background.
