Crumb Cake Gift Card

 
This is the last of the FREE GIVEAWAYS all those who attended my new catalogue launch party received as they arrived.  A gift card made using Crumb cake cardstock!

You may be thinking that this looks remarkably like Kraft cardstock, and you would be correct - Stampin' Up! have renamed this colour.  Kraft has now become Crumb Cake.  I think this is a much nicer name!  And you can now get an ink pad to match the card - fabulous! 

I have used the NEW Crumb cake ink pad on this card, to stamp all of the images, except the green branches (they are pear pizzazz - a new In colour).  Can you tell that I just love having a Crumb cake ink pad!

This cute card shape is created using the Stampin' Up! exclusive Top Note die.  This die gives this lovely extra detail of the dashed score lines around the outside of the card.  I cut out the circle using my circles die on the Big Shot and used a NEW PUNCH, the modern label punch to punch out the greeting.

The flowers and greeting are both from NEW LEVEL ONE HOSTESS STAMP SETS.  The flowers are from  Punch Potpourri, a set with 4 images that all coordinate with punches (the butterfly, bird and large heart punches) and of course the flowers that can be punched out with the boho blossoms punch, which I did for this card.  The greeting is from the NEW hostess set Afterthoughts, containing 5 lovely greetings.

In Colour Ribbon Flowers

 
Here is another of the free gifts I gave to all the lovely ladies that attended my New Catalogue Launch Party last week.  Ribbon Flowers!

I made these using the plastic spools that Stampin' Up! ribbons come on.  I pulled these apart to remove the large cardboard circles then pushed them back together.  I wrapped some thin grosgrain ribbon around each spool.   The scallop circle punch is the perfect size for covering the sides of the spools, topped with a stamped image punched out with a circle punch and you are done!  The cute bird and flower are from the 'Cheep Talk' stamp set on page 50 of the catalogue.

Of course, the colours that I used are all of the NEW IN COLOURS: 

 - Concord crush (a lovely rich deep purple),

 - Poppy parade (the nice orangey red),

 - Peach parfait (a very soft and pretty orange),

 - Blushing bride (a dusky pink) and

 - Pear pizazz (a cute light green). 

I have to say that I LOVE all of these new colours and can see myself using them and the matching ribbon a lot over the next 2 years.  Yes, that's right - the In colours last for 2 years now instead of just one - what a bonus!

Covered Lollipop

 
Here are the covered lollipops every guest at my New Catalogue Launch Party received last week, as well as other goodies!  Don't they look colourful!

I covered them all with whisper white card that I stamped with the circle image from the New Stampin' Up! Artistic Etchings stamp set, in black ink.  I then punched out the centre of each image using my 1 inch circle punch.  The stem of the lollipop was poked through a hole, punched by the crop-a-dile, and the card was wrapped around the lollipop and held together by some black grosgrain ribbon.

New Catalogue Launch Party!

 
I held a Stampin' Up! New Catalogue Launch Party last Friday night.  It was a really fun night, with lots of lovely ladies attending. A BIG THANK YOU to all those that came along and joined in the fun.

Here is the scene that greeted all of my guests as they arrived.  Two tables filled with all of my FREE GIVEAWAYS for the night.

Everyone received a Gift bag, labelled with their name, so they didn't get mixed up on the night.  I stamped the tags with the new shimmer paint (this is fantastic stuff  - my card making classes in October will be focussing on how to use this!) so they all shimmered a little for my lovely guests.

 

I stamped the bags with the lovely large flower from the new 'Printed petals' stamp set, this is such a lovely image and can be used in so many ways too.  The bags were a bit flimsy to hold a brand new Stampin' Up! catalogue and lots of giveaways (smile!), so I strengthened the tops with strips of card, then punched hand holds using my large oval punch (now renamed the 1-3/4" x 7/8" Oval large punch - what a mouthful!). 

Everyone made my 3 make and takes, enjoyed browsing the new catalogue and my samples made using new catalogue products, had a chance to win my lucky door prizes and the extra large gift box of goodies if they ordered over $100 on the night (Congratulations to that lucky lady!) and shared stamping tips and tricks as they enjoyed the evening.

Mini Marshmellows in a bag!

 

These are the cute treats I gave to everyone who attended by Spring Mini Catalogue Launch Party.  I usually give them something nice to eat!

I stamped each bag with an image from the Soft summer stamp set, a new one in the Spring Mini, using White Staz On ink - another product only available in the Spring Mini Catalogue until the end of November.  Here is a close up so you can see the image better, although it is difficult to see (sorry!):

Corner Bookmark

  

This was one of the items I gave away to all the attendees of my Spring Mini Catalogue Launch Party earlier in August.  It is a corner bookmark.  Here is it 'in action' to give you a better idea of how it works.  It sits on the corner of your page to keep your place in a book:

 

I made lots of these, here are the 4 of have left!  I am sure some lucky hostesses of mine will be getting these over the coming days.

 

I used the lovely papers from the Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper pack with a stamp from the new Oval All stamp set.  Of course I teamed it with the beautiful scalloped oval punch (only available in the Spring Mini until the end of November - order now so you are not disappointed!) and large oval punch.

I coloured the large flower on each one using my 'not quite navy' ink pad and blender pen.
