Cards from Stampin' Fiesta Event

A few people have asked me what projects we made at our recent Stampin' Fiesta, Girls Night In, Event.  An event put together by Creative Stampers Team Members that involved over 120 people making cards and raising money for charity.

We raised over $2000 for Women's cancer!  Thank you to all who attended and were involved in the organisaing of the event.

Make and Take 3 from Spring Mini Launch

 

This is the third and final 'make and take' from my Spring Mini Catalogue Launch earlier this month.  It is a card adapted from one by Merryl Blacker, my lovely friend and downline.  Thank you for the inspiration Merryl!

I have used the Tree trimmings stamp set.  A great Christmas set and even better at only $24.95.  The card is folded slightly differently as you can see.  Here is the front view:

 

The ribbon is the fabulous super wide Riding hood red striped grosgrain ribbon - only available in the Spring Mini Catalogue.  It is perfect for Christmas projects.  I have used a small folded piece to assist the receiver in opening the card.

Here is the view of the inside of the card:

 

And a view of the great idea in hiding your ribbon inside your card.  Using the wide oval punch (or any oval punch that suits your ribbon size), cutting it in half and adhering it over the edge of your ribbon, so the 'messy' bits are hidden!  Another super Merryl Blacker idea!

Make and Take 2 from Spring Mini Launch

 

Here is the second 'make and take' from my Spring Mini Catalogue Launch earlier this month.  It is 4 little gift cards in a bag tied up with ribbon.  An idea shown to Australian Stampin' Up! demonstrators at our last convention (another benefit of being a demonstrator - they show you lots of ideas!  If you would like to become a demonstrator and join my team, please feel free to contact me and find out more).

I used the fabulous Oval All stamp set.  It has the 4 greetings you can see in the cards (Best wishes, Just for you, thank you and fabulous friend) and they all fit perfectly in the large oval or scalloped oval punch (magic!).  It is a great set to add greetings to your cards.

This set and the scalloped oval punch are in the new Australian Spring Mini Catalogue and so will only be available until the end of November - I would suggest ordering soon, so you don't miss out.

Make and Take 1 from Spring Mini Launch

 

I held a Spring Mini Catalogue Launch at the beginning of this month and here is the first 'make and take' that everyone who attended got to make, and take home!  I will show you the others over the next couple of days, so pop in again soon.

I used the Great Friend stamp set.  I think it is my favourite from the Spring Mini - although there are so many nice sets, it is a difficult choice!  The butterfly is just lovely, here is a close up of it all glittery:

 

The scalloped oval punch has to be my favourite punch of all time!  I just love the little scallops.  I have used it on this card as a cloud, here is a close up:
